Kopke Fine Ports are versatile wines, the result of a blend of young port wines from different harvests, with a minimum aging of three years. The three different styles - Tawny, Ruby and White - are ideal for the first contact with Kopke Port wines. Picked by hand at the optimum time, the grapes are peeled, crushed and transformed into wine through careful maceration to extract their colour, tannins and aromas, which are enhanced by constant stirring during fermentation. This is done in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature between 28 and 30°C until the right degree of sweetness (Baumé) is reached. At this point grape brandy is added to produce the final liqueur wine. The result is a rich and aromatic wine with the perfect sweetness, obtained by blending wines from different harvests with different degrees of maturity in stainless steel and wood for at least 3 years.Tasting notes:Orange-brownish in the glass with a bouquet of ripe and honeyed fruits with a hint of vanilla. Grape varieties: Traditional Douro grape varieties. Residual sugar: 105 g/l. Acidity: 3.75 g/l. Serving temperature: 12 - 14°C.
