Description
This Norwegian gin comes from the family-owned Kimerud Farm, which was founded in 1785. Two gins are offered, although this Viking Heritage Edition uses less water (higher vol.%). 22 fine botanicals are used for the production. Probably the most unique of these botanicals is the golden root, which grows in the north of Norway and gives the gin an arctic sea note. In the Viking Age (800 - 1050), this root was even considered a delicacy with magical properties. This gin is distilled 5 times in new stills, which are made by Arnold Holstein. After distillation, only pure Norwegian water is added.
