After the first Concertmaster bottling was finished in port casks, the new Kavalan gets its finish in Spanish sherry casks. Master Blender Ian Chang reveals that through the double maturation (first in refill casks and subsequent finish in sherry casks), the whiskey gets its purity and fruity notes.
