The history of the Hyde family began in 1640 when two brothers opened the "Tinker Cross" restaurant in West Cork, Ireland. Here they served original Irish whiskey and stout tapped directly from oak casks. After 10 generations, not much has changed - two brothers still care for traditional, fine Irish whiskeys. The only difference? Alan and Conor are the first generation to do all this without the family pub. The Hyde No.8 HERITAGE CASK 1640 Single Malt Irish Whiskey is distilled 3 times and gets a finish in Stout beer barrels. Limited to 5,000 bottles!Tasting notes:Colour: Amber.
