Between orchards and vineyards is the long-serving distillery of Hödl Hof. The quality of the brandies is ensured by a 300-litre rough rim boiler and a 200-litre fine distillation boiler made of pure copper. The fruits from the orchards are brought to the fermenting cellar by the shortest possible way, where they are fermented gently and temperature-controlled. For generations, double distillation has been carried out according to old Styrian tradition. Only the high-proof heart of it is taken and then matured in wood, glass or stainless steel.
