Between orchards and vineyards is the veteran distillery of Hödl Hof. The quality of the brandies is ensured by a 300-liter rough-fired boiler and a 200-liter fine-fired boiler made of pure copper. The fruit grown on the farm is transported by the shortest route to the fermentation cellar, where it is gently fermented under temperature control. For generations, double distillation has been carried out according to old Styrian tradition. Only the high-proof heart of it is taken and then matured in wood, glass or stainless steel. The harvest of the apricots at Hödl Hof begins only when the fruit itself falls from the tree. Through the rapid processing and gentle fermentation, as well as the old Styrian tradition of double distillation, this wonderful fruit aroma is created.
