The Highland Park distillery was founded by Magnus Eunson in 1798. Today The Edrington Group is the owner of the distillery.
It is the northernmost whisky distillery in Scotland and is located in Kirkwall on the Orkney Island mainland.
The distillery buildings of Highland Park are listed in the Scottish Heritage Lists and produce around 2.5 million litres of whisky annually.
Dragons were once feared as a power of the devil as well as revered for their mystical abilities.
The Viking Sigurd, through his cunning and bravery, killed the evil serpent dragon Fafnir in a battle.
When Sigurd tasted the dragon's blood from his thumb, prophecy and wisdom became his gift.
The DRAGON LEGEND was created as courageous and unconventional as Sigurd himself.
