The Dresdner Whisky Manufaktur, located in the middle of Dresden in the Alberthafen, is currently the largest whisky manufactory in Germany. The distillery attaches great importance to sustainability. Therefore, the manufactory produces its whiskies through its own power generation from solar cells, energy recovery and recycles the production waste as energy-neutral and sustainable as possible. The Hellinger 42 whiskies are distilled there in a wide variety of barrels. The Hellinger 42 RAUCH Saxon Single Malt Whisky matures in American bourbon barrels and is smoked over peat. Tasting notes:Color: Dark gold. Nose: Smoky, notes of malt, vanilla, honey, oranges, tangerines, apples, pears, dark chocolate. Taste: Delicate, clear, notes of smoke, vanilla, cloves, pepper, campfire smoke, caramel, bright fruit. Finish: Long lasting, smoke, spices.
