St. Kilian Distillers brings out a heavily peated Heavy Metal Edition. Inspired by the heavy metal band in Germany Grave Digger. This band has been one of the most influential bands in the German metal scene for more than 40 years.

The Grave Digger TUNES OF WAR Single Malt Whisky matures in 225 litre ex-red wine casks. It is a Heavily Peated Whisky with 54 ppm. The barley malt used for this comes from the Scottish Highlands.

Tasting notes:

Colour: Copper.
Nose: Sweet, peat smoke, bacon, notes of red grapes, raspberries, strawberries, ash, oak.
Taste: Creamy-sweet, spicy, notes of red grapes, ripe apples, peaches, peat smoke, oak, pepper, ash.
Finish: Long lasting, red grape jelly, apple rings, dry oak, ash.
