Dry, as tradition dictates, fragrant with a pleasing finale of licorice and honey that can only come from thorough and scrupulous distillation. Clean and precise like the original vine: Turbiana. A distillation method based on the slow passage at low temperature through copper stills that ensures everything obtained with so much effort in the vineyard is captured in the taste. To be enjoyed during an evening with friends, desserts with delicate creams, puff pastry biscuits and dry fruit, cooked fruit, and to accompany the conversations at the end of the meal. Sprayed on raw fish, it becomes a noble ingredient of a dish fit for a king.

The Ca' Dei Frati company has been renowned since 1782, as confirmed by a document that refers to "a house with a cellar located in Lugana in the Sermion district known as the place of the Friars." In 1939, Felice Dal Cero, son of Domenico, formerly a winegrower in Montecchia di Crosara near Verona, moved to that same house in Lugana di Sirmione, immediately realizing the area's potential for vine cultivation. After thirty years working in the vineyard and the cellar, his son Pietro took part in the creation of the DOC in 1969, bottling his first wine with the label Lugana Casa de Frati, later named Ca' Dei Frati. In 2012, Pietro Dal Cero passed away, leaving the cultural legacy to his wife Santa Rosa and children Igino, Gian Franco, and Anna Maria. They run the company with the same passion and determination.
