The whiskey distillery is located in Ballindalloch, Scotland, and has been owned by the Grant family since 1865. The "The Family Casks" range of Glenfarclas is produced only in limited edition as a vintage bottling. The bottling is done at cask strength and without artificial coloring. This whiskey matures for 32 years in refill sherry butt. Distilled: 1986 Bottled: 06 December 2018 Cask Number: 4335 This is a limited bottling of 219 bottles. Tasting notes:Color: Amber. Nose: Fruity, sherry notes, red fruits, dried fruits, raisins, dates. Taste: Rich, aromatic, notes of wood, cigars, tea, oak, anise, licorice. Finish: Long lasting.
