Glencadam Distillery is located half a mile from the center of the Scottish town of Brechin. In 1825, the distillery was opened. All single malt Scotch whiskies from Glencadam are bottled at 46% vol. without cold filtration as well as without the addition of colorants. The Glencadam 13 Years Old Sauternes Wine Cask Finish matures for 13 years in bourbon casks and then receives a finish in Sauternes wine casks. Bottled: 2008 Distilled: 2021 Limited to 3,042 bottles worldwide. Tasting notes:Color: Rich gold. Nose: Fresh, fruity, candied orange, almond, cinnamon. Taste: Juicy, fruity, rich, pepper, cheesecake, apricot, nectarine. Finish: Long lasting, strawberry.
