Since 2002, Hercynlan Distilling Co. has been producing the finest single malt whisky in the Harz Mountains, right in the heart of Germany. In 2005, the company moved to Zorge in Elsbachtal, where the whiskey production was expanded step by step. Only the best regional barley malt, fresh mountain spring water from Zorge and pure cultured yeast are used as raw materials. The Distillery Edition is a true classic of the Elsburn Distillery. This whisky matures in first fill sherry casks from Jerez and is a highlight for sherry lovers as well as for anyone who has just entered the world of whisky.
