Since 2002, Hercynlan Distilling Co. has been producing the finest single malt whisky in the Harz Mountains, right in the heart of Germany. In 2005, the company moved to Zorge in the Elsbachtal, where the whisky production was expanded step by step. As raw materials, only the best regional barley malt, fresh mountain spring water from Zorge and pure yeast are used. The Cosy Winter series is bottled exclusively for Kirsch Import and is slightly smoky. The Cosy Winter VII is already the seventh bottling of this series. Casks: First Fill Malaga Casks, Dolce Marsala Casks, Port Casks Limited to 1344 bottles worldwide. Tasting notes:Colour: Warm reddish brown. Nose: Malty-sweet, slightly smoky, notes of raisins, almonds. Taste: Strong, full-bodied, smoky ham. Notes of malt, spice, raisins, dark chocolate, almonds. Finish: Long lasting.
