Eligo Grappa is produced by the world famous Tenuta Ornellaia winery. The following grapes are used: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. After its distillation in copper vats, it matures for 3 years in former Ornellaia wine barrels. Afterwards it is married with grappas from older stocks.Tasting notes:Colour: gold. Nose: Spicy, smooth, fruity, oak, toasted aromas, grape. Taste: Soft, powerful texture, well matured, oak wood. Finish: Long lasting. A drinking temperature of 10-15 °C is recommended.
