El Ron Prohibido Rum Habanero' comes from the Spanish language and means 'The forbidden rum'. This is because around the year 1700 Chinguirito Rum (= distillate from cultivated sugar cane from Mexico, which was shipped to Spain and stored in sherry barrels) became very popular and of course the traditional rum producers did not like it. Without further ado, the royal house banned the Chinguirito (also called Habanero). El Ron Prohibido Silver is a white rum with a Mexican character.Tasting notes:Color: Clear.
