El Dorado's blended rums are blended from different vintages or batches as well as from different stills. The El Dorado 5 Years Old matures for at least five years in oak barrels. Awards: - Gold in the "Ministry of Rum Tasting Competition" in 2008 and 2009. - Silver in the "Ministry of Rum Tasting Competition" in 2007.Tasting notes:Colour: gold. Nose: tropical fruit, notes of caramel, butterscotch, molasses. Taste: Slightly spicy, fruity, caramel, toasted coconut, vanilla. Finish: Long lasting. Best enjoyed pure or on the rocks!
