The Demerara distillery in Guyana, located on the tropical north coast of South America, has been processing sugar cane since 1670. The premium brand EL DORADO has become a synonym for high-quality rum worldwide.
The blended rums from El Dorado are blended from different vintages or batches as well as from different stills.
This rum is a combination of used Enmore and Diamond Coffey Stills and Port Mourant Double Wooden Pot Stills.
The 12 year long maturation takes place in selected oak barrels.
