The Dos Maderas PX 5+5 Years Old is made from different types of rum made from molasses. The rums for the Dos Maderas come from Barbados and Guyana.
The rum matures for the first five years in American sherry barrels in the Caribbean until it is shipped to Europe, Spain.
Once in Spain, it is transferred to oak barrels where it is stored for the next and last five years.
The producer describes it as a rum for special moments.
