The easternmost island of the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean is Barbados. Large sugar cane plantations characterise the landscape of this island, and the harvests of the high-grade sugar cane are of an excellent quality.
The Foursquare Distillery, located in Saint Philip, produces an excellent rum from this top product in an elaborate process.
To create the unique character of Doorly's XO, some of the oldest rums are carefully selected for a second maturation. This maturation takes place in Spanish ex-Oloroso sherry casks to achieve a complex and stunning result.
