The Master Blender of Dictador continues his masterpiece in the creation of rums aged in American oak or given a port or sherry barrel finish. The Rima 1 American Oak Cask Vintage 2006 bottling matures for 16 years in American oak barrels, giving it its earthy character with subtle nutty aromas. Distilled: 2006 Bottled: 2022 Barrel no: AO-452 Limited to 321 bottles. Tasting notes:Color: Dark copper with reddish highlights. Nose: Barbecue embers, notes of tomato plants, earthy ginger roots, touch of leather, flambé marshmallows, lemon peel. Taste: Strong earthy tobacco aromas, cigar paper, Indian patchouli, hints of nutmeg, walnuts, almonds. Finish: Long lasting, fresh ginger, vanilla.
