Weinhof Deutsch is located in southeastern Styria, 6 km outside of Weiz. They own two vineyards, one of them is located on the Karberg with sunny southeast exposure and the other is located on the Rosenberg with south exposure. Tasting notes:Dark purple in the glass. In the nose powerful and fruity. Very spicy on the palate of sour cherries and dark chocolate. Long lasting in the finish. Grape varieties: Zweigelt, Rösler. Aging: 14 months in barrique barrels. Closure: screw cap. The wine harmonizes very well with game, steak and dark chocolate.
