Darnley's Spiced Gin is produced by the Wemyss company. It was named after the time Queen Mary of Scotland first met her future husband Lord Darnley at Wemyss Castle in 1565. The main ingredients of this gin are juniper, cinnamon and nutmeg. The bottling has been set at 42.7% by volume to obtain a perfect combination of the warming spices and starch used.Tasting notes:Color: Clear. Nose: Oranges, pine needles, rosemary, cinnamon, coriander, pepperoni, cloves. Taste: Spices, ginger, fresh pepper, hints of orange zest. Finish: Long lasting, coriander, cardamom, hints of pepper.
