One of the four leading cognac houses in the world is Courvoisier. Legend has it that Emperor Napoleon chose Courvoisier as his favourite cognac, which is why it is also known as the "Napoleon Cognac". The company has been around since 1828.

The Courvoisier Very Special is a blend of three to seven-year-old crus, mainly from Fins Bois and some Petite Champagne. By marrying cognacs aged for different lengths of time, the Couvoisierer VS offers a particularly wide range of flavours.
