The name Compagnie des Indes derives from the East India Companies (Great Britain, Holland, France and Portugal). These trading companies traveled to America and India to import various goods into their home country. The brand was founded in 2014 and includes selected blends and single cask bottlings from various distilleries. This 8-year-old rum is a blend of distillates from Guyana, Panama, Barbados and the Dominican Republic. Tasting notes:Color: Gold. Nose: Fermented fruit, rock candy, spices.
