The name Clase Azul translates as "blue like the agave" from which this tequila is made. Clase Azul Tequila - a bottle of true art. All bottles of the Clase Azul distillery are shaped by hand and individually painted - no bottle resembles the other. The Clase Azul Tequila AÑEJO is a premium tequila, which is made from the Blue Weberagave and matures for 25 months in American whiskey barrels. The spirals placed over the raw clay at the bottom of the bottle symbolize the fertility of the earth. The thin blue line represents the water of the agave. In the center is a piña, representing the heart and soul of tequila. On the back you will find a four-petaled flower, which shows the traditional Mazahua representation of the sun.
