Ichiro's Malt Double Distilleries is a marriage of casks from the Hanyu and Chichibu distilleries; pure malt that combines sweetness and conciseness.
A sweetness that comes in part from maturation in Japanese oak casks. The conciseness derives from the ex-sherry and hogshead casks from which the malt from the Hanyu distillery has benefited.

Tasting notes:

Colour: Golden.
Nose: Fruity, plums, cereals, hints of anise, cinnamon, quince jelly, red berries.
Taste: Complex, pears, plums, warm chilli, notes of dried grass.
Finish: Long lasting, fruity, sweet.
