By The Dutch BATAVIA ARRACK Indonesia Rum is made from 100% sugar cane molasses.
A small amount of Indonesian red rice is added during the fermentation process.
The ageing process lasts eight years and takes place in oak barrels.
Nose: fruity, notes of apples, pears, bananas, cinnamon, nutmeg vanilla, leather, star anise, cloves.
Taste: Strong, spicy, oak wood, notes of sweet fruit.
Finish: Long lasting.
Especially suitable for cocktail creations or as the main ingredient of traditional punch.
