Bunnahabhain means "mouth of the river" and is one of the eight renowned distilleries on Islay, an island off Scotland's west coast in the Southern Hebrides. It is the only single malt distillery on the island that uses pure, natural spring water. AONADH comes from the Gaelic for "union." This 10-year-old single malt Scotch whiskey matures in sherry casks, Bunnahabhain AONADH then receives its finish in port wine casks. Distilled: 07.02.2011 Bottled: 22.04.2021 Batch No. 9 Tasting notes:Color: maroon. Nose: Rich, creamy, notes of vanilla, butter, caramel, berries, oak. Taste: Sweet, fruity, notes of cinnamon, salt.
