The Brown Brothers winery was founded in 1889 by John Francis Brown and is located in Milawa, Australia. Today, the family business is run by the fourth generation. The grape harvest took place at the end of February to the middle of March. Awards: - Gold Medal in 2015 at the Macquarie Group Sydney Royal Wine Show. Tasting notes:Deep brick red in the glass. In the nose aromas of red currants, dried herbs with earthy undertones. On the palate, juicy and fruity with a fine tannic structure. Long lasting in the finish. Grape variety: Shiraz, Aging: 13 months in American and French barriques. The wine goes very well with beef carpaccio or also with a tuna steak with salad.
