The Fratelli Branca Distillerie S.r.l. is an Italian family business from Milan. Already in 1845 Bernadino Branca together with his brothers Luigi and Giuseppe started to produce and distribute the bitter Fernet-Branca. Brancamenta is an amaro with a fine mint note. It is aged for over a year in handmade oak barrels as Fernet Branca. Only then is the carefully selected mint added to Brancamenta.Tasting notes:It tastes slightly sweet, mild and at the same time herbal. The additional mint flavour gives it its special charm. Brancamenta is very popular as "Magic Menta" with ice and a leaf of fresh mint. Hot chocolate becomes a special taste experience with a shot of Brancamenta as "Dopo le otto" - also cold and on ice with a leaf of fresh mint a pleasure. Brancamenta is also excellently suited for a variety of mixes, e.g. with cola or as a "fifty-fifty mix" with Fernet Branca over ice.
