The grapes for the Braida Montebruna Barbera d'Asti DOC 2015 are grown in the top vineyard "Cru Montebruna" in Roccetta Tanaro. After harvesting, they are macerated on the skins for a short time before fermentation begins in steel tanks. Subsequently, the wine is aged for at least 1 year in large oak barrels. On the label you can see staggered letters that form the name and these represent the numerous pieces of land that belong to the winery Montebruna. Tasting notes:Dark cherry red with violet nuances in the glass. On the nose a delicate aroma of cherries and dark berries. On the palate full-bodied, harmonious and a hint of almonds. Long lasting with fine tannins and light acidity on the finish. Grape variety: Barbera. Soil: sand and clay. Closure: Natural cork. Drinking temperature: 15-17 °C. The red wine is excellent with pasta, white meat and cheese.
