Norton Winery is located in the heart of the Mendoza region, in the district called Luján de Cuyo. Sir Edmund James Palmer Norton founded Bodega Norton in 1895. Tasting notes:Deep red in the glass. On the nose aromas of ripe dark fruit, tobacco, violets with subtle vanilla and toasted aromas. On the palate intense, complex, spicy, fruity of black cherries with a good degree of maturity. Long lasting on the finish. Grape variety: 100% Malbec. Aging: 12 months in French wooden barrels, 10 months aging in bottle. Soil: gravel, sand. Closure: Natural cork. Drinking temperature: 18°C. Storage potential: until 2025. A good companion on balmy summer nights. It harmonizes very well with all kinds of dishes.
