Benriach is always looking for an eclectic mix of barrels from around the world, selected for their exceptional character and flavors to give to the whiskey. The barrels are filled with three different types of spirit: classic, peated or triple distilled. The distillery is known for its long-standing tradition, and with the end of 2019 creates a new range of products that will bring out even more the variety and versatility of Benriach's "orchard fruit style", covering the entire spectrum of whiskey tastes. The color palette of the gift boxes and labels is inspired by the natural environment of Speyside. Benriach 30 Years Old FOUR CASK MATURED Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made from peated whisky aged for at least 30 years in sherry casks, bourbon casks, oak casks and port casks from the Douro Valley. The production is done by the Master Blender Rachel Barrie. Tasting notes:Color: Mahogany. Nose: Fruity, stewed plum, baked orange, smoked walnut, cinnamon, cocoa. Taste: Rich, full-bodied, dark fruit, honey, notes of chocolate, raisin. Finish: Long lasting.
