Benriach distillery was founded in 1898 in the north of Speyside. The founder and whiskey heir John Duff was an important milestone in the development of Benriach whiskey. The distillery is located on the site of the old Riach farm. Water is drawn from a mineral-rich aquifer deep beneath the distillery. The barrels are filled with three different types of spirit: classic, peated or triple distilled. This whiskey belongs to the Cask Edition of Benriach. All premium bottlings of this collection were created by master blender Dr. Rachel Barrie. Maturation takes place for 27 years in Oloroso Sherry Puncheons. The bottling is done without artificial colors and is not chill-filtered. Distilled: July 18, 1994 Bottled: 2021 Cask No.: 2059 Style: Smoky This is a limited bottling of 659 bottles.
