The Ballykeefe Distillery has been a family business for many years and is run by the Ging family. It took 25 years of research to build a distillery that does justice to Irish whiskey and supports both the environment and sustainability with all its processes. Lady Desart Gin is produced using 12 carefully selected botanicals in Italian Copper Pot Stills. This exceptional gin is refined with three rare peppers. These peppers are handpicked and originally come from Vietnam and Cambodia. A tribute to Ellen Cuffe, the Countess of Desart, she was an Irish politician. The Ballykeefe Distillery is still partly located on her estates.Tasting notes:Colour: Clear. Nose: Fresh, spicy, pepper, juniper, citrus. Taste: Fresh aromas, dry, clean, citrus, juniper.
