The grooviest edition of Ardbeg, Ardbeg GROOVES. The whisky is stored in old wine casks that were previously heavily charred to make grooves in the surface of the wood. This procedure is called "Grooves".Tasting notes:Colour: Red-orange. Nose: Intense, smoked, classic, salty, floral notes, cinnamon, paprika, antique leather, pine resin, tar, chilli, lavender soap, white pepper, coriander leaves, mint. Taste: Strong, salty, sweetish, molasses, vanilla, fruit, BBQ, paprika, mustard, smoked apples and pears. Finish: Long lasting with a gentle sweetness.
