Appleton Estate was founded in 1749 and is the oldest distillery on the island. The Appleton Estate has its own source, associated yeast farms, as well as sugar cane plantations. The rum is produced in the traditionally elaborate pot-still process in own production. This Appleton Estate 21 Years Old Jamaica Rum comes from the Nassau Valley. It is aged for a minimum of 21 years. It is a blend of matured and noble rums. Tasting notes:Colour: Copper. Nose: Strong, delicate, notes of vanilla, orange peel. Taste: Complex, notes of almond, cocoa, vanilla. Finish: Long lasting.
