Alipús Mezcal was created in 1999 as a "Social Impact Project" to support traditional producers and their land, in a number of regions. Today, Alipús Mezcal works with nine mezcal producers in Oaxaca, all of whom contribute to the development of the rural economy. Alipús Mezcal is produced by Don Valente Ángel García and his children in San Andrés Miahuatlán, Oaxaca. 90% Maguey Espadín and 10% Maguey Bicuishe are used for the production.Tasting notes:Colour: Clear. Nose: Notes of roasted agave, caramel, white flowers. Taste: Light acidity, hint of wood. Finish: Long lasting. A wonderful companion to grilled meat, BBQ and kebabs.
