In the Agave de Cortés line we find the taste of the most popular agave from the capital Santiago Matatlán. In 2008, Agave de Cortés was introduced as Santiago Matatlán's Espadín distillate spirit. The three bottlings Joven, Reposado and Añejo serve as a perfect introduction, to long-lasting flavors and easily identifiable notes. Agave de Cortés Añejo is aged for one year in American oak barrels. Region: Santiago Matatlán Agave: 100% Espadín Agave angustifolia Master Distiller: Gregorio Martínez Jarquin Limited to 1,200 bottles. Tasting notes:Color: Intense gold. Nose: caramel, butter, wood. Taste: Sweet, vanilla, caramel, oranges, tangerines. Finish: Long lasting, soft, creamy.
