Wiliam Grant & Sons offers two differentiated flavours with the Aerstone whiskies. Identical age, but different maturation conditions; one matures on the coast, the other inland. This creates two different characters of soft & light in contrast to rich & smoky. Aerstone - Single Malt. Two Choices. Smooth and Easy or Rich and Smoky. The Aerstone Sea Cask 10 Years Old is aged for 10 years in a warehouse located on the Scottish coast of Ayrshire. The name "Sea Cask" describes the location of the warehouses in which the whisky matures. The storage by the sea creates a pleasantly soft whisky with sea salt nuances.Tasting notes:Colour: Rich gold. Nose: Light, floral, nutty, oak aromas, malty biscuit, creamy vanilla. Taste: Lightly toasted almonds, sweet candy floss, vanilla, hint of tannins. Finish: Long lasting, pleasantly sweet.
