The A.H. Riise Parmacy 1838 bitters were made on St. Thomas in 1838 to more accurately realize the history of the apothecary. Bitters were a natural ingredient in healing. In addition, bitters were used to protect against stomachaches, headaches, and poor digestion. Parmacy 1838 bitters contains extracts of spices and herbs which give it a refined arome. Tasting notes:Colour: Amber. Nose: Full-bodied, rich, notes of spices, galangal, ginger, bitter orange. Taste: Rich, spicy, notes of cardamom, ginger, galangal, bitter orange. Finish: Long lasting.
