For the production the own grown grapes from the region of Cognac are used. After double distillation in copper stills, pure eaux-de-vie is produced, which serves as the basis for the cognacs.
In 1870, the Hennessy X.X.O was created for the first time together with the Hennessy X.O.
Selected eaux-de-vie were set aside by Master Blender Emile Fillioux and in 1871 the cognacs were released worldwide.
7th generation Master Blender, Yann Fillioux, revives this X.X.O in 2017.
Tasting notes:Colour: Deep dark mahogany.
Nose: Bitter oranges, fresh nutmeg, dried mint leaves.
Taste: Complex, notes of spices.
Finish: Long lasting.
